If you want to visit the Capital and are looking for where to sleep in Paris on this occasion, the best thing is to stay in the center of Paris. This way, you can easily travel around the main tourist sites. However, housing prices can quickly climb when you stay in the first 7 arrondissements of Paris. Despite everything, there are other neighborhoods that are also excellent choices and at more affordable prices.
And even though we live in the suburbs, we had the opportunity to test several hotels in Paris. All the selected establishments are located close to transport which makes easy access to many tourist sites.
Top Affordable Hotels in Paris for 2024
HOTEL B55
We start this selection of the best hotels in Paris with the Hotel B55 which was a very nice surprise. Located in the 13th arrondissement , a stone’s throw from the Butte aux Cailles, this 4-star hotel on the theme of wine combines everything we love. In addition to offering a wine bar and cozy rooms , the hotel also has a spa with swimming pool and sauna . The wellness area is not very large and can accommodate no more than 4 people. We therefore particularly appreciated the possibility of reserving a 45-minute slot (€35 per stay) to peacefully enjoy the place. In addition, the hours are quite wide because the swimming pool and sauna are open from 10 a.m. to midnight.
Among the 48 rooms offered, some have a balcony . This is what we chose for our stay at the B55 hotel and we loved its view of the rooftops of Paris. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with the plant painting making its little effect. The comfort of the bedding and the calm are also real assets! The hotel also offers family rooms for 4 people. And finally, the welcome is really warm with little attentions depending on the occasion of your stay!

BLOOM HOUSE HOTEL & SPA PARIS
We continue with a brand new address in the 10th arrondissement : the Bloom House Hotel & Spa . This 4 – star establishment , located between the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l’Est, opened its doors in September 2023. Its bohemian decoration instantly invites you to let go as soon as you enter the hotel. You almost feel like you’ve been transported to the Mediterranean with its Berber rugs and shaded patio.
At Bloom House there is a Bar and a Restaurant ( also open to people outside the hotel ). The Bloom Bar offers incredible cocktails created by the World Cocktail Champion and Barista Victor Delpierre. The Bloom Garden invites you to taste sunny recipes, but we did not have the opportunity to test it! The cozy and ethnic side of the decor is also found in the rooms with face patterns , vegetation and warm colors . We really loved the room which looks like a real cocoon! Some rooms have a balcony and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with an incredible view! The hotel has even thought of families with family rooms which are in fact 2 communicating rooms, one of which has a balcony.
Finally, the Bloomy Spa , with its 18-meter swimming pool and sauna , is truly THE great asset of this hotel ( open to outsiders upon reservation ). For those who would like to have a massage, the Bloom House offers treatments and massages for solo or duo. To conclude, and you will have understood, we loved this address which is a true haven of peace in the heart of Paris!
DRAWING HOUSE
If you are looking for an address to sleep in Paris near Montparnasse, in the 14th arrondissement , we recommend the Drawing House . This 4-star hotel is dedicated to contemporary drawing and art can be admired everywhere! Each floor of the hotel (from the corridors to the rooms) was designed by artists from different worlds. That’s what we liked about the Drawing House! We almost felt like we were sleeping in a work of art . Several room configurations are available. Some of them are accessible to people with reduced mobility and others welcome families . The rooms located on the 7th to the 9th floor offer a nice view . As for the Deluxe rooms , they give access to private terraces. You can even book an apartment with a living room and kitchen.
At the Drawing House, we loved its two bars , one of which is under a pretty glass roof , and its restaurant ! We had the opportunity to try it out in room service and we simply enjoyed ourselves. Once again, we loved being able to relax at the hotel pool where art is also omnipresent. To enjoy the pool and sauna, however, you have to reserve your one-hour time slot. Access is reserved for hotel guests and the pool is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The hotel’s spa also offers various wellness massages and treatments . So it was a great discovery and a different experience to sleep in a hotel whose theme is art!
In the heart of the 3rd arrondissement , a stone’s throw from the Sentier, here is a hotel that particularly seduced us: the Solly Hotel. This 4 – star hotel is part of the Younight Hospitality group , which manages nearly 15 hotels in France. To begin with, the great advantage of the Solly Hotel is its prime location in the heart of Paris . It is therefore ideally placed to discover the capital’s must-see attractions such as the Louvre, Notre Dame and Le Marais. We also liked its typically Parisian Haussmann-style building . In addition, the establishment is surrounded by greenery thanks to its proximity to the Square Emile Chautemps.
Opened in the fall of 2023, the hotel has been superbly renovated with an art deco and contemporary style decoration combined with a touch of vintage. We find the Haussmann style in its lobby and its large lounge, and despite its 4 stars, we love its guest house spirit . Its open kitchen and its period glass roof invite you to relax. Between two visits to the city, you can sit down there to read, work or simply have a coffee.
Of the 51 rooms offered by the hotel, some of them have a balcony. They offer a view of the Square, the Gaîté Lyrique or the Eiffel Tower. Families have not been forgotten since the hotel offers a 35 m2 family suite . For our stay at the Solly Hotel, we had a Comfort room with a view of the park that we found very intimate and cozy. We found there the mix of styles that is reminiscent of a cabinet of curiosities. Paintings and objects that seem to have been second-hand rub shoulders with seventies furniture. In short, the Solly Hotel was a nice surprise!
